Besterd Mechanical was founded in London Ontario in 1961 by William Besterd.Bills' strong work ethics and personal integrity built a company reputation for providing quality workmanship for a fair price. Over 50 years ago from humble beginnings, the company consisted of six employees, two office staff and four field employees. In those early days, work consisted mainly of gas station pipe installations and plumbing and heating for small schools.In 1971, the company more than doubled in size with the acquisition of Bennett & Wright Contracting. The acquisition allowed the company to take on much larger projects.During the next ten years of growth, the company successfully bid on large scale installations and renovation projects.
