Founded in Toronto by the Venerable Namgyal Rinpoche in 1966, the Centre hosts inspiring and practical programs in meditation and related explorations in a natural environment at its rural retreat near Kinmount, Ontario, as well as co-sponsoring talks and courses in the region by well qualified teachers. The teachers associated with the Dharma Centre represent various traditions and a teacher is often in residence at Kinmount to support groups or individual retreats.Our Kinmount facility can be rented by groups for retreats or spiritual workshops, and by individual practitioners. All faith traditions and approaches to meditation are welcome. There is a temple with a large teaching & meeting space, a kitchen, dining-room, tea-room, and residences accommodating up to 40 people.
