Marie was professional, friendly and considerate.
She made sure that I was happy with the cut and colour she did. She did foils and colour. She kept checking the progress of the foils and would not remove the foils until the colour was exactly what I wanted. Avoid this "Salon" at all costs. Literally butchered my daughters hair. The dye job was horrible large patches and the cut was choppy lopsided and uneven. Had to go to another Salon for a new cut and buy a box of hair colour to fix the mistakes.
As a busy professional I hardly get enough time to take good care of long hair. Therefore I cut it short. However, it is quite interesting for me to wear long hair at times. Therefore, I went to Delmar Family Beauty Salon for getting hair extensions done. I must say that I enjoy my hair extensions thoroughly.
My mother is 60 and the hair near her crown area started thinning badly exposing her scalp. Different types of physical illnesses made the problem worse and she started losing confidence in going out of her house. It is the special stylizing of her hair that made the trick for her and now she looks younger by almost 5 years. I cannot thank Delmar Family Beauty Salon enough for what they did for my mother.
I was planning to let my hair loose in a friend’s wedding party. I was one of the bridesmaids in the wedding and it was necessary to look beautiful as many sets of eyes were expected to observe us. But, my hair was never too long to show off. Then I chose to visit Delmar beauty salon for a hair extension process. I am very happy that my long lustrous strands managed to attract many eyes in the party.
I found it to be a real big problem when my kid’s hair needed a cut immediately. He creates a huge fuss about hair cutting whenever I take him to a salon. In many cases, the hair stylists are exasperated with his uncontrollable whims and they often give up the after the struggle of even an hour at times. The hair stylists at Delmar were patient enough to deal with his mood sway and cut his hair.
I always heard that short hair is boring because it does not offer you the liberty to style it the way you want. I was quite disappointed and felt very bad about the fact. A friend took me to Delmar for styling my short hair. Now, I am thankful that I was taken to the salon for a makeover.
It’s been long since I was looking for an effective solution to hide my visible scalp through very thin layer of hair. It was magical to see how easily the stylists at Delmar solved the issue related to my hair and offered me a very nice hair cut that added enough volume to hide the problem of thin hair. I am thankful to the team of stylists there.
I catagorily detest the idea of waxing at home. Moreover, it takes a lot of time while inexperienced people do it. The experts of Delmar do the process so painlessly that I hardly can feel anything.
I had come across very few salons where stylists can actually color your hair the way you want them to be. My search for the best hair color salon seems to have come to an end after visiting Delmar.
I M still crying. DONT go there ! She doesnt know anything l. I went this morning for my highlights and its a disaster i have to go to someone else to fix the damages.
DONT go please keep your 30 dollars for a professional hair dresser.
I wasn't sure what to expect since I'd never been to Delmar before, but the Wagjag deal seemed so good. Well, you know what they say about something being too good to be true? I walked in and immediately knew I wouldn't be back. It's small, untidy and dirty. I hate to diss a small business owner because I know how difficult it is to be an independant. But geez....you want the public to frequent your business and you have dirty capes, dirty floors, dirty chairs and your equipment (brushes, etc) looks like it hasn't been replaced in years. Maria was very nice and personable, but she highlighted my hair in 10 minutes! She did the bare minimum (I think) precisely because she offered such a low price for the "services." I didn't get a deep conditioning treatment, and the highlights are barely noticeable. If, for some reason, I had gone in there expecting to pay full price, I would have walked out without paying at all :(
The salon is kept very clean at all times. We try to maintain very high standard of cleanliness, if we did not we would not be opened for long. If the client was not satisfied with the service, they should have come back to have it done to their satisfaction. I try to do the very best i can. If the customer does not say anything I assume that they are happy.

WIFE CAME HOME CRYING! I BEG YOU NOT TO GO HERE.
She had an appt. on March 31st 2012 - and this place when she got there is a dump, so dirty - far from a salon. I bought a package from a group deal (DEAL FIND) and my wife came home crying, hair was wrecked! Uneven cut, unprofessional etc.. (we went to another salon to get it fixed) Shes didn't even stay for the other services i paid for. There are MANY MORE salons which you can choose from. I really beg you not to go here! As you will see there are NO positives reviews. DONT PUT YOUR WIFE OR YOURSELF THROUGH THIS PLACE.
If the client was not happy she could have come back and the service would have been redone to her satisfaction free of charge.If we don't know what the problem is- we can not help her. She should of called back. We at delmar-want the client to feel happy when they go home.
