So older wiser?? Poor service a couple months ago but thought we would try it again big mistake simple order. Two hamburgers after 45 minutes came came back to say made a mistake only ordered one because they were now busy would be another 20 minutes at least. Sorry tough luck. We will Never go back worst restaurant in blue Mountain village. We live up here and have been to most of them.
Staff were too busy socializing amongst themselves to notice people at the door or to provide good service. It was dead and according to our waitress our order didnt go through to the kitchen quickly so we sat and waited half hr for wings which were really crappy then another half hr or more for our food and our waitress didnt come by to even ask us if we wanted more drinks while we waited. My chicken pot pie was cold inside. Its sad because it has potential if they got some proper staff.
Don't go..unless you want to eat processed overpriced stuff. Stick with bologna and cheese sandwiches.. Much better for you and cheaper too
Where do I begin...as an ex-careeer waitress myself, I know from good service. I worked in a busy Irish Pub for seven years and completely understand when it's busy, service can slip a little. In fact I felt real empathy for the poor bartender trying to keep up with all the orders. The host on the other hand...wouldn't take our names for a table, just said 'I'll find you' and proceeded to forget us over and over until we finally said something. Also told people 'It'll be at least forty-five minutes, it's not worth the wait.' Maybe we should have taken his advice... My teeny-tiny, terrible tasting cocktail was $13, well, $15 for me since they don't take debit (the owner instead set up an ATM in the lobby so he can get extra $ from you for the $2 service charge, hilariously transparent). My friend ordered a chicken pot pie - remember those 99 cent pot pies you get in the frozen food section? Yup, those are the ones. Covered in terrible gravy. I got the Chef's Creation which was alright, I guess. No garnish on the plate, just a sandwich and some undercooked potato wedges slapped on the plate. We had to hunt down our own cutlery, beg another table for a ketchup bottle and then pass it along to the next table after us. The washrooms - c'mon. I couldn't bring myself to use it. No tp, and no tp holder as it had been ripped off the wall. Grungy, filthy. Such a lovely building with such potential...and talk about location! The sad part is, no matter how awful they are, it'll be open forever. It was packed when we were there - and before one of their servers can jump all over me...honey, it's just no excuse. Although how you work in the mandated short skirts and knee socks I can't imagine. Won't ever, ever be back. And will be sure to tell my friends not to bother either.
Wow.. there's bad then there's Windy O'Neill's... Not worth any more of my time... they have already taken from me two hours that I will never get back...
