What a nice treat. We finally made it to Dave's place on a Friday night and had to wait for a table - that is always a good sign in my books. We didn't wait long, and ordered the wings and rib combo, and the 2 piece fish and chips. Too much food, but not a bite went to waste, we took doggie bags and finished the leftovers for lunch the next day. Fish was perfect, nice light batter. As a test, I asked the waitress how they smoked the ribs - (figured she'd say they came in frozen that way or something) and she proudly replied, we don't, they are slow baked from fresh and then char grilled for each order and tossed with their special home made sauce. They did taste wonderfully smokey - mush be the char grilling. It's so nice to find a place that serves food that they prepared from scratch, not just heated up. And the wine selection was fabulous too.
