I ordered a bike online a month ago. I called multiple times to confirm the order with no answer. I sent an email and the auto reply was they were too busy to reply.Finally I got through today& they informed me that they stopped taking online orders but they have my bike in stock so I need to call in tomorrow to ask them to hold the bike for me if they have it in made or I need to cancel my order? An hour later I get an email saying my order is cancelled as they no longer have the bike in stock.
I was enormously disappointed to see what is happening at Canadian Tire -- while medical professionals are dangerously low of PPE during the Covid-19 crisis, this store is profiteering by selling needed supplies to the general public at five times the usual cost. Crassly exploiting a public health emergency-- misguided priorities. You have lost this lifelong customer. Shameful.
Customer service staff at returns counter lack courtesy and friendliness. Talks down to me as a customer; very demeaning attitude. Had to speak to the manager as Jennifer, the person i was dealing with persisted in refusing to refund my money on a brand new $800 outdoor grill i purchased that upon openning i discovered a dent on it. It was handled verr rudely and i assured her i ll never shop at canadian tires again because of her horrid service.
This Canadian Tire opened a couple of years or so ago and since then we have used them for a variety of purposes. From automotive service for headlights, tires, and brakes we have been very pleased with the results. The staff offer reasonable turn around times and whats more they stick to them. The costs are always reasonable and the guarantees that they offer are always honoured. Furthermore, this store has a great selection of merchandise and you can get great seasonal merchandise...especially at Christmastime! Visit Canadian Tire on Cambie and you will be happy too!
