over 140 local USW 1-424 members from across the local Union took part in a number of courses organized by the local. The training is extremely valuable to our members dealing with the daily issues of policing the Collective agreement and addressing the concerns brought forward by the members within their operations be they grievances or health and safety issues. Those attending also had the opportunity to do some networking with members from other areas of the local including our new stewards and committees from the mining sector, Automotive and Trucking.
