This is a great place, good food and service. We have been there many times.
Our server was alright at the beginning and quickly plummeted into the worst I have ever seen. These are the facts: She let us know what the specials were. We let her know we had seafood and mushroom allergies. I ordered steak...she did not ask me how I would like it done (who wouldn't...it is "key" after all?). She dropped off the food. She reached over my dress to serve my husband his meal nearly hitting my chin as she crossed..we both were on the same side of the table by the aisle...weird...we have never had someone serve us in this manner before... The server did not check on the food. My food was cold except for my potato was hot...strange... She never came back to check on how the food was....never..never..bad mistake as far as serving... I was going to let her know that my potato was hot and delicious and leave it alone...but she never came except to take things away...or maybe that was the busboy (good little guy...with a smile but I do not know his name to give him credit)? Our server came back eventually....and asked if any of "you want coffee or tea...ladies...????"....go figure...we did not! I put my credit card on top of my wallet...she came back and took it with the words..."I'll be back with this." What ever happened to "would you like me to get the bill?" She came back and dropped the credit card statement off that conveniently stated, "gratuity not included in the total..."...or something similar to the same.... I love to tip is how I should have begun this review... I always leave a tip is how I will end it... I gave a handsome tip to the owner (..and my apologies...I am assuming...) as I went by and said: "This is for you! You have done so much more tonight than our server did for us." She seemed surprised (I think) because all she had done was show me where the restroom was... .
A wonderful place for any occasion!!!! The food is amazing and the owners and staff are friendly and the service is great. I highly recommend it!
