I receintly went to Petro Canada Gas on River Road in Port Alberni for boat fuel (Marine Gas) and the price was .05 cents a liter above the regular gas, what is wrong with Petro, I was always under the assumption that purple gas was always cheaper than regular gas, but not at Petro in Port Alberni, it is $1:30 a liter apposed to $1:25 a liter for regular gas.I approached the attendant and asked why, and she did not have any opinion, other than she said it might be up because of the long weekend.
