I am a Certified Rolfer; I graduated from The Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in Boulder, Colorado in June of 2015. My years of experience as a yoga instructor and practitioner became very helpful in my understanding of the body and how it moves.
Rolfing Structural Integration is a form of manual therapy and movement education that works with the body's fascia (connective tissue) in order to release, rebalance, and realign the entire structure. Dr. Ida Rolf developed the method over 50 years ago. She was a pioneer in the health field, and the first person to understand the important roll that the fascia plays in our bodies. Rolfing SI can help to reduce pain, increase flexibility, improve balance, and is an excellent compliment to many wellness practices.I first was introduced to Rolfing Structural Integration (SI) when my grandmother was successfully treated using Rolfing SI to remedy a problem with her jaw that conventional medicine said needed surgery to fix! Rolfing SI also helped me to recover from, and to overcome some complications I encountered after, foot surgery in 2011. I saw firsthand how profound and powerful Rolfing SI can be. I enjoy an active lifestyle, and find great satisfaction in being able to help people to live with greater ease, comfort, and happiness in their bodies. I understand how debilitating an injury or surgery can be, and am thrilled to be able to help people on their journeys of healing and wellness. Call today for a Rolfing® session!more...See more text
