After working for a few years in other salons, Samantha Cerroni decided she wanted to get her own shop. She visualized it as a salon that would benefit both the clients and the stylists. So, when a local salon came up for sale, Samantha decided to take it over. “I love working with hair and people, hearing their stories and making changes that make them feel good,” the owner of Diva Hair Design says. “But I wanted to do my own thing and be my own boss. I wanted to have a bit more creativity and have a place that encouraged that in the other stylists.”
The first step was to find a team that fit Samantha’s vision, hair stylists who loved their clients and their work and got along well with one another. “We have a family atmosphere with all the staff,” Samantha says. “We’re all really close and it’s a good vibe. When I hire, I look for people with the right personality as well as the right skills. And I have a team that considers Diva Hair Design their own shop, they take pride in it and their work.”
So much talent in this hair salon, it is crazy.. I have always had such an awesome experience and love love loved my hair every time I had walked out of diva. If your looking for an upbeat clean salon in maple ridge Diva is defiantly your place to go.
i have been going to the shop since sam opened!! i am a little shocked at the review below .. its a very comfortable shop and the girls are awesome!! im always happy to come !! when sam is away i fully trust the other stylists to do my hair, they are all great and really nice girls. i send all my friends because i know they will leave happy!!
Professional and friendly staff, cute and funky shop and amazing styles, colours and cuts! I am always so impressed with the outstanding level of customer service provided by all staff, and their accommodating nature to all of their customers. And of course, the services they provide are amazing! I have recommended Diva's to countless individuals, and I will continue to do so for sure.
I would not recommend Diva Hair Design to anyone, I went there awhile ago and was treated extremely rudely. As someone who has spent years working in the customer service industry I have no idea how they are still open considering how their hairdressers treat paying customers. Over the years I have gone to countless hairdressers and have never had a bad experience before this one.
