The Lethbridge Alberta Temple was first announced in April 2023 by Church President Russell M. Nelson, and this location was announced September 2023. This will be the fourth house of the Lord in the province of Alberta and the 10th overall in Canada. Alberta is home to the first temple built in the country and just the sixth temple built by the Church of Jesus Christ.
